About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented *Procurement & Transport Logistics Officer * to manage daily transport logistics activities and support operational procurement in Nigeria, with potential exposure to regional projects and shipments across East and West Africa and the Middle East. The successful candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipments while supporting efficient procurement operations. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for projects and operational deliveries. - Liaise with logistics service providers, vendors, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure timely and compliant deliveries. - Manage shipping documentation, including Air Waybills (AWBs), Bills of Lading (BOLs), and import/export permits. - Monitor freight costs and verify logistics invoices against approved rates. - Support procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor communication, and maintenance of vendor records. - Coordinate goods receipt and invoice reconciliation with Finance and Intralogistics teams. - Process external returns, maintain accurate records, and provide regular logistics and procurement reports. - Ensure compliance with established procurement and transport procedures. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics coordination, import/export operations, procurement, or supply chain management. - Good knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and vendor management. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or procurement systems. - Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
